	Scuba Fins, Scuba Diving Fins, Dive Flippers Scuba Fins Scuba Fin Basics When scuba diving, the extra equipment we carry, scuba tanks, BCD, UW Cameras, etc, makes it difficult to move through the water without the use of Scuba Fins. Scuba Fins come in many styles - there are Split Scuba Fins and Paddle Scuba Fins. Some scuba fins are stiff, some scuba fins are softer. And truth be known, although many people refer to scuba fins and snorkeling fins, you can use scuba fins for snorkeling and vice versa! So what's the difference between snorkeling fins and scuba fins?? When we are scuba diving, many times we have to walk across rocks or coral to get to your entry point. Or with a bunch of gear on our back, we are walking on a pitching boat with a slippery deck. Or, it can be diving in cold water. For all of these reasons, divers like wearing Dive Boots on our feet. So with Boots, or dive booties as they are also known, we need Strap Heel Fins - which are refered to as scuba fins. We tend to think of full foot fins, as snorkeling fins, but again, there is no problem with snorkeling with scuba fins, or vice versa.
