Which saftey device should I buy?

 Larry:
If I am diving with Joe I take nothing at all because he is the perfect
signaling device. He's loud enough at the surface to stop a boat from
taking off without us, and if they have already left I just point his
bald spot in the direction of the boat sort of like a signal
mirror. When I dive without Joe it's a whole different story. I
would use the self
sealing safety tube. When rolled up it hangs nicely on a D-Ring
on my BCD but when inflated it can really get some attention since its
6 feet tall and about 8 inches wide… If that doesn't get a boats attention
then I also have the Dive
Alert attached to my inflator which sends an ear piercing sound
almost a mile away, in fact it is so loud I put my head underwater before
I push the button so I don't blow out my own ear.
Joe:
Well Larry I'm not sure if that was an insult or a compliment, but thanks
anyways! What about when you need to get someone's attention underwater,
even though I'm loud enough to stop a boat at the surface my voice doesn't
travel so far below the surface. That's why I carry the HammerHead.
It's a directional noise maker to get anyone's attention underwater.
It works great for students but for some reason my wife never seems
to hear it. Now when I'm stuck at the surface I'm glad that I took my
Oceanic
PSD. I can wave it around to get the boats attention and when I
know I have their attention I just wrap it around my neck and zip it
up for extra lift.
Larry:
Hey Joe, I hate to break this to you but your wife told me that she hears you just fine she's just ignoring you… And I don't think you need extra lift with that gut!
