The heavy duty zipper comes from the left thigh up to the neck. The John uses a heavy duty velcro closure on the shoulder.
If you're in cold water - below 70 - this combo is the perfect suit. And it's versatile as you can also choose to simply wear either half in warmer temps.

Neoprene has a tendency to smell after a few days of diving ( at least Joe's does) so you may want to add a little stink aide! Choose from the handy travel size or an 8oz bottle.
