These are little containers of dessicant which will help absorb the moisture inside underwater camera housings. If the moisture stays inside the housing, the front of the lens will fog up and wreck your shots! Pop one of these into the housing - in fact the SeaLife Digitals have a pre-built holder that works great with these - and will help keep the sensitive electronics as well as the front lens dry.
